We will be running movie night 2nd Friday Nights starting in November. We would love you to join us and drop in and leave when you need to. Each episode is roughly 24 minutes long. We will promptly start the show at 6:30 and be done at 9:00pm. Bring your own beverage to enjoy and we will provide the popcorn.

This first class will teach you how to set up your camera and gain an understanding of photo composition underwater. NO CAMERA NECESSARY. NO DIVE CERTIFICATION required for this classroom course.

            Olympus OMD em5 Mark 2
            Olympus TG5

 

  • Software options for editing UW pictures
  • Introduction to UW light theory
  • Introduction to UW Composition

 

 
Cost is $75.00 for this 2 hour classroom course.
Recommended: Camera with housing, NOT required. If you bring a camera, we will work with setting you to set up your camera, if one of the options above. Additional help with other cameras is available for private session. All of these cameras are point and shoot or micro 4/3.

Here is a great course that is FUN and very informative! Have you ever thought about how your equipment works? This is a great specialty course to help answer those questions. Have you ever thought of becoming a dive professional? This course is for every diver! This is a course that is done over 2 nights of practical application that gets into hands-on interaction.

You wouldn't want to miss a dive due to minor issues with your scuba equipment. The PADI Equipment Specialist course teaches you to manage basic repairs and adjustments. You'll also learn more about how your gear works, making you more comfortable with it and better prepared to take care of your investment.

If you’re at least 10 years old and certified as a PADI (Junior) Scuba Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Equipment Specialist course.

This course also teaches you about routine care and maintenance procedures as well as scuba equipment storage recommendations. Your instructor will show you how to overcome some common equipment problems and offer equipment suggestions.

Cost for this class is $200, there is NO pre-studying for this course. IF you own your own diving gear (Wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, regulator, BCD, computer, gear bag etc.) bring it to class with you. You must pre-register for this course.

Referral Course-

This is an independent study class. Please have completed all of the 5 chapters in the manual, all of the Knowledge Reviews, and computer simulator, and have watched the training DVD-- before coming to the first class meeting. As a respect for everyone's time and to keep this as a fun learning course please try to be respectful of the time schedules as outlined. This is a FUN learning experience for all!

CENTRAL OREGON DIVING SCUBA SCHEDULE (December)

Thursday – December 12th– 5:30 PM to 10:00PM meet at Central Oregon Diving shop for Academics Chapters 1 – 5 and Final Exam.

Sunday – December 15th– 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM meet at Central Oregon Diving and then to pool JSFC 11:30-5:30

Sunday –December 22nd– 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM meet at Central Oregon Diving and then to pool JSFC 10:30-5:30

This course is a referral class. You can do your academics and confined water training, then you have a year to complete the open water dives. You can finish in a fabulous location, or refer back to us in the spring to complete your dives. We also offer a trip to Roatan in the spring to complete your open water dives with our instructors.

The course price includes all of your scuba rental equipment for confined water training. Required PERSONAL items for this class are: Dive Mask, Snorkel, Fins, and Booties. ELearning students also must purchase a training log book. We have SPECIAL student discounted packages that are available to you at a discount. You might also consider purchasing a mouthpiece for your training regulator. As a dive student you will receive a 10% off on NON- MSRP items for 90 days after your dive training. (Please beware of equipment bargains and online purchases!)
